Dr. Jesse Morantz

Jane Bishop has been a trusted colleague since I began my internal medicine practice in Sechelt 14 years ago. During that time I have had the opportunity to work closely with Jane to care for our mutual patients and as part of hospital committee work. Jane has consistently shown commitment to the advocacy of her patients, the local patient population, and the physician community alike. Early in my career I learned from Jane what it meant to truly put our patients' first, even, at times, when the system did not seem to be on their side. Later, as she became more involved in health care policy and physician advocacy I have witnessed her unwavering determination to improve our system for the better. Jane has my endorsement for the position of President Elect of Doctors of BC.
